Call for opens and patent disclosures: - No one declared a patent. - Mike asked if there should be an agenda each week - For a few years the agenda was always to review the IQ spec - Mike sent only "call info", no agenda - Now our activities have more variety - We agreed the weekly meeting notice should have an agenda AR Review: - Anders verify IBISCHK 1uA leakage WARNING and propose 5.3.8/5.3.9 changes - Done - Mike propose change to merge IQ checks 5.3.8 & 5.3.9 - Done New items: Discussion of claimed IBISCHK 1uA leakage warning: - Anders checked one model, changing values to produce a warning - Changed the current of the point closest to 0/0 - At 400mA IBISCHK5 still did not complain - Bob: This could be a bug report - Anders: Not sure if clamps should be checked - Bob: This should be checked again with CAUTIONs on Mike showed Anders' QUAIL document: - Title: "Check for Pullup/Pulldown I-V Zero-crossing for IQ2.0" - The existing IQ checks assume IBISCHK warns for current exceeding 10uA - That has proven to be incorrect - The proposal is to document the 10uA limit in the checks - There was some discussion about the proposed document format - We like the acronym QUAIL, but what does it stand for? - Change to QUAlity Issue Log - We tested a small IBIS file, adding leakage - IBISCHK did not complain even with cautions turned on - Bob: This writeup looks good Mike showed his QUAIL document: - Title: "Merge IQ spec 2.0 sections 5.3.8 & 5.3.9" - These checks are identical except one is for Pullup, the other for Pulldown - The checklist would be shorter with only one check for both - Mike: At one time the descriptions were different - The Pullup check explained the difference between IBIS and absolute voltage conventions - That is now covered in the document introduction - Bob: This will change the check numbering - Mike: It may not be worth it to make this change - Mike will not submit this Bob: We have to decide if there will be a formal process: - Mike: IQ is not an ANSI spec, so it should not be too formal - Bob: We could copy the BIRD mechanism AR: Bob consider creating ibis/quail directory and Perl script Next meeting will be Mar 16 Meeting ended at 12:01 PM Eastern Time.
